Coding is one of the high-income skills to learn in this century and it’s exciting to know that there are sites on the internet that empowers you to learn this skill completely free.

Let’s see these 5 free sites to learn how to code.

  1. Skillcrush: This site has a free coding camp that runs through the year for anyone interested in coding. There are 5 aspects to be learnt in Skillcrush coding camp: HTML & CSS ESSENTIALS, VISUAL & WEB DESIGN BASICS, JAVASCRIPT 101, USER EXPERIENCE (UX) BASICS, and WHAT IT’S LIKE TO WORK IN TECH. The training is perfect for beginners without prior coding experience.
  2. FreeCodeCamp: FreeCodeCamp is another exciting site to learn coding from beginners to advanced levels. There are several coding certifications courses available on the site such as JavaScript Algorithm & Structures, Data Visualization, Backend Development and APIs, Scientific Computing with Python, etc.
  3. Programmingbasics.org: There are a couple of downloadable and teaching resources available on this site for aspiring coders. One thing that is worth mentioning about this site is that there are dedicated training resources for you to focus on a specific coding application such as making a game with unity, making transit cards keychains and NFC, etc.
  4. Google Applied CS Skills: This is a part of the Google for Education program and it’s tailored to train people on how to build Android games. So, if you’ve always wanted to learn how to develop games, this is best-go for you to learn.
  5. Grasshopper.app: Grasshopper is a popular free coding learning platform that enables you to learn on any device that you’ve got — Android, Mac, or Windows. You’ll get to learn from the simplest basics of “what is coding” to advanced aspects of coding if all you’ve got is just an Android phone.
