One of the websites where you can make money tutoring online is called School Solver.
School Solver is a platform where students come to ask questions and get answers from expert tutors on any subject. The questions asked by students are mostly about assignments and projects.
On the platform, students are allowed to pay any price they want to get answers to their questions from an expert.
The tutors can then choose to answer any available questions if they are comfortable with the price that the student is willing to pay.
With that being said, let’s see how to sign up as a tutor on School Solver.
How to Sign Up as a Tutor on School Solver
- Head on over to schoolsolver.com
- Locate and click the Register button. Sign up with your email and create a password.
- Verify your email by clicking on the confirmation link sent to your inbox.
- After confirming your email, you’ll be prompted to continue your sign-up process. You will have to proceed by selecting the tutor sign-up option.
- After filling out all the necessary details about you and your tutoring subject of specialization, you will be prompted to take two qualification quizzes.
The first quiz is a 28-question quiz that is based on School Solver rules. The answers to these quiz questions can be found on the School Solver support FAQ page, and you must first read it before proceeding to take the quiz.
You will be given 20 minutes to take the first quiz, and you need to score at least 90% to pass the test to proceed to the next.
The second quiz is a basic English quiz, and you will need to pay $4.50 to take this test. 26 questions are to be answered here within a 20-min time span and you need to score at least 92% to pass the test.
In case you don’t have $4.50 to take the basic English quiz, School Solver will give you a free chance to take the quiz when you submit a 5–10 minute video about School Solver on YouTube.
After passing these quizzes, you will become a tutor on School Solver and can proceed to start answering questions related to your specialty. You will get paid each time a student gets access to your answer (depending on the stated price that the student wants to pay).
It should be noted that students can request their money back on School Solver if they are not satisfied with the answers provided to their questions by a tutor and School Solver retrieves the money from the affected tutors’ accounts. Therefore, it’s essential that you provide quality answers to each attempted question.
Once you have made a minimum of $40 tutoring on School Solver, you can place a withdrawal and have the money sent to your PayPal account.
