Userlytics

In this article, we’ll be considering another website where you can make money by testing websites. In case you have not read the article about the first website (Userbrain) discussed, you can check it out here.

The web testing website to be discussed in this article is called Userlytics.

Just like Userbrain, Userlytics is a user testing platform that enables companies (website owners) to connect with web testers that give feedback about their website functionalities according to specified instructions.

These website owners sign up to get web testing services on Userlytics, while prospective web testers also sign up to get web testing jobs (no technical skills required) on Userlytics. So, Userlytics is more like a connection party.

As usual, web testers get compensated for their time spent testing and giving feedback on tested websites on Userlytics.

Without further ado, let’s see how to sign up as a web tester on Userlytics.

How to sign up as a web tester on Userlytics

  1. Head over to userlytics.com. Locate and click on the Tester Signup button to be prompted to the signup page.
  2. On the page, you will find an email submission form with some important instructions to note before you proceed with signing up. These instructions are easy to understand, and you can proceed with filling in your email for registration after reading them.
  3. After filling in your email and checking the terms and policies boxes, the next line of action is verifying your email. To do this, click on the verification link sent to your inbox.
  4. After this, you’ll be prompted to your dashboard. On this page, you would need to fill out your profile information by clicking on the My Profile button. Ensure you completely fill out all the information as this is the criteria for matching you with available web testing jobs. Your PayPal email address should also be filled in here to get paid for successful jobs done on Userlytics.
  5. Having completed this, you will start getting notifications sent to your email each time new tests are available on Userlytics.

Important points to note testing websites on Userlytics

For desktop tests, you will need a Mac with OSX 10.13 or higher/ PC with Windows 7 or higher, the latest version of Google Chrome or Microsoft Edge installed on your device, a microphone (microphones priced around $2 can suffix), and for some tests, you will also need a webcam. 2. Tests are made available on a first-come, first-served basis, i.e., you must respond to each test as soon as possible upon notification. However, it should be noted that you will need to fill out a profile match survey before the commencement of each paid test for Userlytics to be sure that you’re the right profile needed for the particular test.
  3. You must perform each test in a quiet environment, speaking your thoughts aloud as you go through the set of instructions specified for each test.
  4. The compensation for approved tests can be $5, $10, $15, $20, $30, $50, or as high as $90 depending on the nature and time required to be spent on each test.
